This model enables you to carry out a basic study of the operation of:
- a permanent-magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) (the most commonly used motor in EVs and hybrid vehicles),
- the motor control system (inverter).
Once you have identified the components of a synchronous motor and its control system, the suggested activities will gradually lead to a comprehensive analysis of a permanent magnet synchronous motor: PMSM.
